request of the Greens Aachen, 21:10:09 unanimously with one abstention
We hereby request that the Green Ortsverband Aachen following Order shall, at its General Meeting on 21.10.09:
The General Assembly calls upon our Council Group, in the context of the ongoing process to ensure that the development is limited to the plateau of the Wilkensberges and that alternatives be considered in the method for traffic management, so that the Rabental will not be affected.
Reason: ⚫
The Rabental was aware of the TH as a recreational area for residents and employees TH-designed as it stands now, what for the new campus is an attractive Location factor would be.
⚫ The Rabental one of the "green fingers" that gives our city in this respect such a great quality of life.
⚫ The Rabental one out there the only undisturbed scenic pedestrian connection from the Horn to the west.
⚫ The almost unanimous decision of the district representative Lauren Berger is considered.
⚫ The many concerns of the citizens of Aachen and objection to the planning in relation to the Rabental to be taken into account first of all and the risk of judicial disputes is reduced.
⚫ The outstanding ecological value of the Rabentalhanges can thus account be worn.
⚫ The previous FPN representation needs in the area of the Raven Tales no change.
