Sucht man die entsprechenden Veröffentlichungen des Umweltbundesamtes auf, stößt man u. a. auf eine Grafik, in der sehr anschaulich dargestellt ist, dass alle unter "Feinstaub" zusammengefassten Komponenten im Einzelnen und kumulativ seit Beginn der langwierigen Beratungen in Brüssel - ich glaube es war 2000 - seit diesem Zeitpunkt um im Schnitt 80% des Ausgangswertes durch Aktivitäten der Industrie abgesenkt wurden und seit einigen Jahren auf einem konstant niedrigen Wert verharren. D. h. mehr scheint mit vertretbarem Aufwand nicht möglich. Die ganze EU-Richtlinie ist also für die Katz und die Klimmzüge diverser Länder und Kommunen nicht unter dem Aspekt der Feinstaubreduzierung zu sehen.
